Curiosity drives interaction, exploration, and intuition. The feeling of witnessing emergence feeds my curiosity and powers my work. Simple rules, when applied to many actors, lead to complex and beautiful outcomes in physics, engineering, art, and more. The way water churns as it boils, clouds extend into the atmosphere, and plasmas rise and fall in the sun appear nearly identical. The rules around us create complex systems that appear the same at vastly different scales. Creating visual art inspired by my fascination with scale, waves, clouds, and all things fluid drove me to study physics. Now, I aim to inspire others to explore the world of physics through interactive art while I continue my academic exploration of astrophysics and engineering. Using Touchdesigner, Arduino, Blender, and more, I create interactive and immersive experiences for anyone to explore. Central to my art is the idea of letting people play with art to create, destroy, or simply say "cool". Using funky sensors and various inputs, people find their own unique ways of interacting with the work, becoming new nodes in the system and changing the rules completely. By blending technology with artistic expression, I hope to not only share the beauty of physics but also empower individuals to become active participants in the creative process.
